Robert Colquhoun was born about 1622 in Luss, Dumbartonshire, Scotland and died after 1666 in County Donegal, Ulster, Ireland.

He married Katherine MacAuselan. She was born about 1622 in Scotland. She was the daughter of John MacAuselan and Nancy Colquhoun.

Their children were:
